OIC Mali works in the Banamba area with women gardening groups made up of at least 200 producers each. OIC Mali provides training to women farmers in four specific areas:

• Post-harvest sesame processing
• Improved production techniques
• Alternatives to chemical pesticides, for health and profit
• Integrating trees to improve soil quality
