OIC International’s Workforce and Enterprise Development programs are central to our mission and philosophy. Our training and microfinance programs reflect a comprehensive and adaptable approach to human resource development, ensuring that the training and employment services provided by our projects are relevant to the assessed market demand for skilled labor. OIC International provides non-formal education, with training consisting of seventy percent hands on learning and thirty percent theoretical training.
We have developed and utilize complex training modules in the following business development areas:
- Finance and accounting
- Access to credit
- Interview techniques
- Human resource management
- Marketing and communications
We also focus on enhancing livelihood skills and providing support to small enterprises through technical and vocational training such as:
- Computer skills and graphic design
- Batik production, textiles and dressmaking
- Carpentry
- Masonry
- Plumbing
- Electrical
Additionally, we encourage and foster small business development through our microfinance projects by providing aspiring, largely rural entrepreneurs with the working capital needed to start, expand and diversify their existing business.
