OIC International’s programs in post-conflict rehabilitation began with our work in Sierra Leone and Liberia, where we provided former combatants with skills trainings, trauma counseling and resettlement assistance. What started as an extension of skills training and job development services to ex-combatants and child soldiers slowly expanded to serve the needs of various individuals and communities affected by violence and conflict. Our projects utilize a community-based approach and work around our model of providing:
