Reina graduated from Swarthmore College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors in history and peace and conflict studies.

Reina is responsible for coordinating OIC International’s communications outreach and devising new strategies for public relations and the use of social media. She also provides administrative support to OIC International’s Business Development team and works with the President & CEO on the organization’s strategic planning initiative.

Reina was actively involved in Swarthmore College’s Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility, serving as a volunteer and senior coordinator for Swarthmore TOPSoccer, a student-run program for children with special needs. As senior coordinator, Reina managed the program’s website, video production, contact database, and program sessions, overseeing significant program expansion in four years. Additionally, she has interned with the Verbal Arts Centre, an educational organization in Northern Ireland, and Facing History and Ourselves, an organization promoting innovative approaches to teaching history. Reina is fluent in English and Japanese, and partially fluent in French.
