Sharon Reed Walker, founder and president of The Long View Group, LLC, is committed to utilizing her 35 years of corporate experience in finance and strategy to inform and empower individuals and organizations. Sharon has worked for Fortune 500 firms and in an entrepreneurial environment. She has held several leadership roles, holding titles of controller, vice president and chief financial officer. During her career Sharon has continuously provided meaningful counsel to many small businesses, non-profits and individuals. Today she is a member of several advisory boards, including those of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, the University of Southern Indiana and the Indiana Commission of Women.
Sharon’s experience is enhanced by her global perspective, having conducted business in over 30 countries in North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Sharon has also had a meaningful impact on public policy having been invited to discuss the health care initiative at the Clinton White House, joining former Secretary of State Madeline Albright to comment on the economic rebuilding of Iraq, and participating in global nutrition sessions at the World Health Organization.
Sharon holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
