Member : Michael Lupton

Mr. Michael F. Lupton is vice president of investments for the private client group of Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly Wachovia Securities). Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2009, he was vice president in Lehman Brothers’ private investment management and fixed income divisions, specializing in municipal securities. He began his career as a corporate bond trader for J.P Morgan Chase & Co. in 1996. He holds the Series 7, 63 and 66 designations. Michael served as a helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps for eight years which awarded him both the Naval Achievement and Humanitarian Service Medals. He participated in Operations Desert Storm and Restore Hope.

Michael holds a B.S in computer science from the United States Naval Academy and a MBA with a finance concentration from Duke University (The Fuqua School of Business). While at Duke, he was a Rollins Scholarship Awardee, Fuqua Fellowship Recipient, Fuqua Fellow and was elected president of the MBAA Association.
